This poem, along with village greens, grass cuttings and maypoles is the inspiration behind the new #5ftinfshed installation which I’m putting together as a guest artist for @jehane_openhouse this year, and which you’ll be able to visit in Brighton during each weekend in May.

I’ve always loved #brianpatten poetry and I even read this poem for my first ever ‘Speech and Verse’ assessment at #RADALondon in 1993! ???
