I did not think last night would turn out to be one of the most memorable experiences of my life and my career. My sister, my friend and I arrived at the restaurant earlier with @minasundwall , @maxwelljenkins8 and @itsparkerposey and their families. We walked to the back room that was reserved for us and waited for the rest of the party to arrive. Suddenly, I turn around and MARK GODDARD, the original Don West on @lostinspace is standing in front of me with the biggest smile on his face. Before I could say anything, he hugs me and tells me how proud he is and honored that I have taken on this role. I was taken back with joy and bewilderment. What a privilege to continue their legacy and carrying such a giant show on our shoulders. Then suddenly appeared @theangelacartwright (Penny Robinson) who hugged Mina and inundated her with compliments. Then Bill Mumy @moomeb (Will Robinson) enters and so does Marta Kristen (Judy Robinson). The energy and love in the room could fuel a space ship. Stories of Jonathan Harris (Dr. Smith) told by Kevin Burns while impersonating the legend. Remembering those who left us early that loved Lost In Space and would be so proud to see this new version. The #lostinspace family had doubled in size. It was like a family reunion at thanksgiving. Like we all belonged in that room. It was a night I will never forget. Thank you to Kevin Burns and @jashni_jashni for bringing all these people together and for trusting us in continuing the great work of Irwin Allen.
