Meet @sandyvanhelden - she’s an illustrator and designer based in Amsterdam. Check out some of her Instagram posts that are full of bold colors, and elegant curved lines. She’s inspired by the “girl bosses” of the world, as you can see in her designs that further highlight and empower her followers. She loves to photograph and illustrate “empowered males and females, fashion, and flowers” but her other passion is for cooking. On weekends you can find her flipping through cook books to find interesting recipes that lead her to the market to find ingredients.

She’s proud of her career (as she should be), which she says was helped by Instagram to find clients. She has achieved her goals through a lot of hard work, sleepless nights, and “a fair dose of good luck.” It doesn’t happen overnight, she says, but through the support of family and friends she’s managed to keep going.
