Today The Prince of Wales visited Vanuatu to see the work that has been done since natural disaster Cyclone Pam wreaked devastation on the island.
The Prince was greeted by the President of Vanuatu before receiving a salusalu welcome garland.
HRH met so many of the island’s residents during his time there with visits including Port Vila Central Hospital and a local handicraft market. HRH saw the work that is still ongoing to rebuild the island and met people who were affected by the cyclone.
Before departing Vanuatu, HRH visited a chief’s nakamal and received a chief title - Mal Menaringmanu - in a traditional ceremony.
