Today in Hawaii we will release my pops to rest eternally. The hardest goodbye of my life. But I know that it is not goodbye, but rather see you later pop. You were the most incredible man in the world, my role model, hero, friend, provider/protecter, my greatest supporter. My earthly representation of God’s love and favor for/towards me. You were an amazing father, and an incredible husband. The way you loved us will never be duplicated. The example of a husband, friend and son you set is one I will strive to measure up to and achieve all the days of my life. You allowed and promoted mom and all of us to be the biggest and fullest versions of our selves. We truly know that the sky is the limit and that we were worthy because of how you loved us. A supernatural love full of acceptance and grace, a complete love, without limitations or restrictions. I don’t have the words to say how much I miss you pop. I think about you all the time, memories of laughter, security, love, of this incredible life you made for us. I was so privileged to get to have a father and to experience a love and covering like I received from you. I pray that you knew and felt everyday how much you were loved and cherished, how amazing you were, how grateful we were, how their wasn’t a thing we wouldn’t do for you. Forever and always THANK YOU POP. I love you more than you’ll ever understand, over a cliff. I will continue to work hard to make you proud, I will be strong, as you instructed.
