Before I put my phone away to enjoy some QT with my family I want to share something personal! After I had Teeny, I couldn't help but wonder: "Will I ever feel like my old self again?" I spent the first couple of months in the restless mommy fog of emotions and once life began to move again - I felt stuck. It's like I was totally unmotivated and trying hard to juggle this new mom life and still hold on to my old self. It was a balancing act and the juggle was real ya'll. ? I literally felt like my hormones were telling me one thing and God was constantly telling me, "Girrrrl focus on Me and I'll be your light!" But I'm stubborn sometimes and God knows this ? FINALLY In iPhone terms (lol), I decided to just click the update button on my life about a month ago. I realized I am never going to completely be the old me again and that's okay because a new version awaits. I'm officially 4 months postpartum and I've never felt so REFRESHED! I'm figuring out this new version of myself but I am completely content. I'm noticing lots of new and improved changes in myself and that's a cool feeling! Teeny is shaping me into a real woman! Shout out to God's grace because that is where it's at.
