I recently started shooting a film project with my friends @BevHillsHotel. Matching the history of a property like "The Pink Palace" with the history of film as a medium to document it. This edition was called "Pool Day" because we were at the Pool...during the Day. ?
One of my goals this year has been to slow down and shoot with more intention, dusting off my analog cameras has helped me do it. The feeling of connecting with an experience I'm shooting more than firing away at 10 frames per second with a digital system. In this case it was during a staycation capturing the single frame of my daughter and her inaugural leap into the pool that day, the light coming through the palm trees and a classic Beverly Hills poolside scene.
