This was a very personal record for me, both in focusing on female collaborators, something I'm very passionate about, and from a writing point of view coming straight from the heart. To be completely honest there was a point when I didn't know if I'd even keep writing and releasing songs again, and this EP has been a real journey... but being so open in the process has been incredibly liberating and its a wonderful thing to hear people relating to these songs.
