Last week I had the opportunity to speak at my old middle school thanks to @ciara_ruppenthal for inviting me. When I was in 7th grade I wrote in my “Me Book” about seeing myself playing D1 hockey and in the Olympics. I wanted to share the message that setting goals and having dreams are extremely important for ones success and to always believe in yourself. I hoped to inspire at least one kid sitting in those stands, and I left amazed by their attentive and respectful behaviors, along with their thought provoking questions, especially from the 5th graders!
