Due to being out of the country, I was unable to watch the new episode of Med with you guys. I want to give it the shout out it deserves.
I am particularly proud of last night’s episode. Every time my character grows, I grow with her. It’s inspiring to play an empowered female who stands up for what she believes and puts her foot down when she doesn’t feel she is receiving the same respect as her male counterparts. Even if that male happens to be the man she loves, she still won’t let that negate the blood sweat and tears she has poured into becoming the doctor.

Given all that’s going on, and all that’s CHANGING, I want to applaud our #ChicagoMed writers for writing this storyline and representing all the hard working, badass women out there!!
