We took Darcy and Pearl to see the My First Ballet edition of Swan Lake and it was soooo lovely. It was ballet as you'd expect in a non-children's performance but the show was shorter (two half hour intervals) and it was narrated to explain the story, rather than the children having to interpret it all through dance. A really, really lovely way to spend a day with my babes. ???
