Today, April 1st, 2018, marks the hardest day of my life. Today I had to say goodbye to the Greatest man that has ever lived and I had the pleasure of calling him my grandfather. I can’t begin to say the ache that my heart feels knowing the one man I could always look to for advice or life lessons is no longer even a phone call away. I can only hope that one day I’ll be half the man he was, and I hope that one day I’ll be able to love someone the way he loved my grandma. He taught me so many lessons and I’ll cherish every memory and ever lesson he ever taught me. I love you so much gramps. I’m sure you’ve got a brand new leg, a brand new big truck to rip around heaven with and a shania Twain CD on repeat. One day we’ll meet again, I look forward to that day very much.
