It's sad and quite shocking to see a victory note from human being$ who are happy they can still cut out the vocal cords in dogs & barbarically amputate the toe bones & claws on cats. I mean these leader$ once took an oath to heal & help animals and ease their suffering.
They say “Lend Your Voice” and then say that declawing or cutting the vocal cords in a dog are medical treatment decisions that are in the best interests of the patients is truly quite disturbing. ?
This note was to their members in 2016.
The NYSVMS is once again is fighting to stop the NY anti-declawing bill this year. @cornellvet is not supporting this bill & is still using the antiquated "last resort" excuse to keep this feline paw mutilation legal.
They are both hosting the NY State Veterinary Conference on May 4th in Tarrytown, NY.
I think it's a great venue for a peaceful march for paws and claws and for ending this cat cruelty, don't you? Are you in? The march will be in the afternoon. Tentative time is 3pm.
