Once more for the people in the back! Donald Trump issued an official order this weekend banning transgender troops who “may require substantial medical treatment, including medications and surgery” from serving in the U.S. military. This is discrimination, point-blank. This is a mischarcterization of trans people. This is an attack on those who have volunteered (or are planning on volunteering) their lives to protect our country. This is, quite frankly, unpatriotic. The orders will now be debated in federal court where they will hopefully be knocked down, like last summer’s version of this blatant transphobic policy. ✊?️‍???
