So many of you have asked about our amazing trip to Dubai and Bahrain for the Bahrain Comic Con.. In 3 words...we LOVED it!! Now that @エミレーツ航空 has a direct flight to Dubai from Orlando, it certainly makes it so much easier to get there.  Now a 16 hour flight still takes a lot out of you, but once we reached our destination, you kinda forget about it.  In Dubai, we were able to go to the Burj Khalifa (tallest building in the world), The Dubai Mall & fountains, ride the Metro and go to the beautiful blue water beach.  It was all amazing!! We felt so safe. The city was so clean, the people were so kind and nicely dressed and everyone spoke English. When we were in Bahrain, again, everyone was so kind and accommodating to us.  We were able to visit an old marketplace, The Qal'at al-Bahrain (Fort), The Al-Fateh Mosque (one of the largest mosques in the world) and yes, out of respect, it is necessary for all visitors to wear a hijab (or bring your own scarf) and they also provide an Abaya (gown). We also visited the museum and got to feed the Royal families camels.  We visited a hospital to see some children. We also met some amazing celebrity guests @bryanldanielson , @charletchung, @chloe_hollings and Jerome Flynn.  We also met a lot of American soldiers stationed there. We ate at some delicious restaurants, @nomadeatery, @lumeestreet and @bluefieldme.  And our suite at Residence Inn Marriott was fantastic!  We've never had so much fun at a con before.  We were pampered, fed delicious food and had a security team fit for a rock band! Lol
I hope that we are invited back again next year to attend @bahraincomiccon!  For those not sure if they want to visit Dubai and Bahrain, we highly recommend it!  And lastly, we really want to thank our sister team, @sehaamm and @nyateem for taking care of us and making us feel like family!  We have made a lot of new friends and we hope to see you again soon.
