April has slowly become one of my favorite months of the year. It’s a month packed with guest performances at local Figure Skating Club Shows in Canada and the one time in my entire year that I get to interact with the future faces of skating. Best of all, it is the ONLY time of the year that I get to do all of this in my home country of Canada. I am passionate about connecting with young people and empowering them to chase after their dreams. My goal is to create unique performances that can inspire students to remember what they love about the sport and the incredible art form that lies within it. As athletes we train so hard, but it’s also important to celebrate our ability to be artistic and expressive through this sport. It is something that can fuel us to keep pushing. Visiting these clubs is such an honor as it reminds me of where it all started for me. Here’s to an epic month ahead! I can’t wait to meet you all.
