My big boy and I are heading to DC for the @marchforourlives to help make sure our voices are heard, that we need protection from gun violence now! No child should be afraid to go to school and no teacher should have to throw themselves into the line of fire. These are school rooms, not war zones. Let’s hope the politicians take note of the amount of people who gather peacefully to make real change happen! #CanYouSeeMeNow?
PS nobody is talking about taking away the rights of law abiding gun owners. Just tightening up the laws to make sure the evil people in our society can’t get their hands on them. We are marching with @sandyhookpromise tomorrow to recognize the people from our state who are working towards a better mental health program, and with @everytown to help get illegal guns away from criminals. I’ve heard every argument and yes, bad people will be bad and find ways to hurt innocents but let’s not make it so easy for them. #NotOneMore @momsdemand
