Last July, Australian bride-to-be #JustineDamond was shot by Minnesota officer #MohamedNoor after she called to report a sexual assault happening behind her home. Noor became startled as Damond ran up to the driver’s seat of a police car he was sitting in and shot her in the stomach. She later died.

Noor ended up being charged with third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter with bail set at $500,000, according to @NYPost. Tuesday, Noor and his legal team learned that these charges would stick due to Noor failing to properly investigate before drawing his gun and shooting Damond.
