PJ spent the first nine weeks of his life in the #NICU. He has endured two surgeries to help him be able to breathe and to eat. He has two more surgeries scheduled for this year. He also needs a hearing device called a Baha that is very expensive and not covered by insurance.
PJ needs full time care so we can no longer be a two income family and are struggling to pay for all of his necessary care.
My friends at @lepetitcirqueofficial have offered to do a one hour #cirque show for PJ to raise money for his upcoming medical expenses and more importantly to bring awareness to Treacher Collins and the #choosekind movement.
They perform around the world, including the Nobel Peace Prize awards ceremony earlier this year. These kids are truly amazing!! They have a 200 seat theatre where they train and do their shows and will have a big screen in the background of the theatre showing pics/videos of PJ’s journey. We will have a #redcarpet and sell tickets to raise money and have a donation page attached for people who cannot attend but would still like to donate.
Because I realize the importance of giving back, a percentage of each ticket sale will go to @ccakids to sponsor a family to go to a #craniofacialretreat where kids can enjoy activities with their peers and their families can meet and support each other.
