You caught me mid burger!⠀ Try my Ultimate Whiskey Bacon Cheeseburger⠀ Serves 4⠀ ⠀ Secret Sauce⠀ ½ cup mayonnaise⠀ ¼ cup ketchup⠀ ¼ cup finely chopped dill pickle⠀ ¼ cup finely chopped pepperoncini⠀ ⠀ Burgers⠀ 8 thick-cut apple-wood smoked bacon slices⠀ 1 tablespoon whiskey⠀ 8 ounces ground sirloin⠀ 8 ounces ground (20 percent fat) chuck⠀ ¼ teaspoon salt⠀ ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper⠀ Four 1/2 –inch-thick slices sharp cheddar cheese⠀ 4 soft white hamburger buns⠀ Butter⠀ ⠀ To make the secret sauce: Whisk all the sauce ingredients in a bowl to blend.
