25 years ago yesterday marked the anniversary of the night we started shooting CLERKS: March 19th, 1993. Pictured is the front & the back of the actual clapper we used, as well as behind-the-scenes photos from the first scenes we shot: the videos store scenes with Dante and Caitlin and Randal and Veronica. Future @comicbookmenamc Star #waltflanagan was in the tag of the Randal/Veronica scene that got cut, in which Randal tries to convince himself he’s done the right thing while a customer looks through videos on the counter before turning to exclaim “Ooo! Navy SEALS!” @briancohalloran and the late, great #lisaspoonauer were on fire that night, as @samosier, @marilynghigliotti, @davidkleinasc, #jeffanderson, #vincentpereira, #rajivthapar, #taradaust, #edhapstak, Walt and I watched in wonder.
