Serious question - how do you teach a kid to set the pace in a match? You know, instead of just matching your opponents moves. She was down early 4-1, but battled back to take an 8-6 win ??? The match also lasted nearly an hour and a half, and while that’s excellent for her endurance, I’d love for her to start learning some strategy too. I especially welcome all advice that comes before today’s 1pm match. #PagingRogerFederer [edited to add: I only want shorter matches because its excruciating, as a parent, to not be able to yell/cheer for 90 whole minutes ?]
