Today I wrote piece on DS called “In Defense of Trends”. It’s about why my thoughts on them have changed and why design should let go of judgement more often. I’d love to hear your thoughts on the topic and the roots of the judgement and issues attached to it. For too long I judged trends as problematic, without recognizing the classicism and other bigger issues that are so often tied to people, homes, and stores that embrace them.
