“I really feel that I am growing up in a world that's different than my parent’s. The interconnectedness is really different, particularly in terms of queerness. You know, my sister is 13, but has an understanding of language around gender and sexuality that was unimaginable to me, as someone who’s in my 20’s, and something that was completely alien to my parents.
