When David and I were first married we heard Amazing Race was doing auditions in San Francisco and decided to drive out there (even though we had like no money ? and def should not have done a road trip but we justified it because we were like, well we are gonna be on Amazing Race!) so we drove out and slept in the car overnight on the way with a cooler full of food. We were planning our audition and we were like “let’s go reeeeally early .. like two hours early”. We show up and the line was stretched around 2 blocks and apparently people had been sleeping in line for a couple days ? so we weren’t as early as we thought. We ditched the line, got Chinese food, and spent the night at the cheapest hotel we could find (literally had mold on the shower ?) and drove home ha! We drove past the hotel we stayed in today and we were busting ? we were actually so embarrassed at the time we were saying how we can’t tell anyone ?
