There was an honorable woman, who passed away in 2006, whose name was Rhoda Hogan. She left a bequest of $125,000 to go to an organization that would use it to help end this barbaric toe and claw amputation procedure and who would support legislation to ban it.
Long story short, @cornellvet talked a good talk and was awarded the bequest over the @pawproject and 2 other organizations.
Cornell made six short videos, that according to the feline behaviorist who wrote all the material, took two days to make, and she doesn’t remember being paid but if she was it was a few hundred dollars.
Cornell said those videos cost $100,000 to make. I don’t think so folks. ??? #lies #tellthetruthcornell
Cornell won’t support the anti-declawing legislation in NY even though that was one of Mrs Hogan’s wishes. And after 10 years Cornell, still hasn’t used the remaining $25,000. #areyoukiddingme #no
I personally think that Cornell lied about what they did with her $100k and think this is one of the most egregious things. To not honor the wishes of the dead and an honorable woman who is turning over in her grave.
