The Duke of York meets The Royal Irish Regiment's mascot, Brian Boru X (known as Conrí) during a visit to the 1st Battalion to present Long Service & Good Conduct Medals.

HRH has been Colonel-in-Chief of the Regiment since 1992 and often visits them in the UK and abroad.
