One thing because I am the Lorax... Things got a little hairy on Saturday night at the #bachelorette when a small random dude groped two of my friends and then me. I have never been in a fight and that is by choice, it’s trashy and I know what I have to lose. Also I can’t fight. Like I box but I don’t BOX BOX. I turned to him and sternly said “do not touch them or me” (ok, I might have said “get your fucking hands off them” but he didn’t deserve the Emily Post treatment for Goblin’s sake.) I turned to the bar tender “get him away from us please.” And he, of course, did and the drunk guy waddled off, after calling me names and threatening me. Par for the course. My main thought was “OMG. I can NOT get in a fight wearing an “I’m the Bride” sash.” ???Girls, don’t ever take a drunk guy on. If you feel unsafe move away and don’t be afraid to do so, if you can, if you are able. I know a lot of MRA guys will bring up my lighter story and think we overreact. Cool. You want some random dude touching your girlfriend in front of you? Getting in her face? I don’t either. Point is you can tell when someone means you no harm- I let men and women touch me and hug me after every show and you can tell when it isn’t pure. You can be safe w out being a man hater, fuck that lazy label. State your intention then go get someone who works there and have them deal with it. The establishment, will 99% of the time have your back. You try to fight a random garbage chicken who has nothing to lose? Guess what? Then his girl wants to fight, now it’s a fairer fight and God help you if you aren’t a fighter or want to use your teeth tomorrow. We all want to be strong but, honestly, and any alpha male/female will tell you this in case you want to fact check, the strongest thing to do is walk away and wake up with all of your hair. Walk away and take out that aggression on the DANCE FLOOR LADIES!!! Jk. If you take dancing too seriously at a bar then you’re a 35 year old white girl doing the #gwaragwara at a country bar and sweating through your bodysuit and no one cares. Talking about a friend. Not me. On Saturday. Ok. #bacheloretteparty
