'It’s easy to see why so many tourists visit the Fushimi Inari Taisha shrine each year. This was one of my favorite areas to explore in #Kyoto. There are over 10,000 of these bright orange Torii gates that lead to the shrines that honor Inari, the Shinto god of rice. Each gate was donated by various individuals and businesses and walking through them was an adventure – they seem to continue on forever.
