The tale of Spanish architect, painter and sculptor Joaquín Vaquero Palacios (1900-1998) and the art he created for the power plants he designed has come to light for the first time in a new book and exhibition at Madrid’s @museoico. ‘This body of work represents the futuristic vision from a very complicated period of Spanish history,’ says his architect-grandson @joaquinvaquero, who instigated the project. ‘People were able to break local barriers or to impose intelligence, sensibility, modernity and an advanced vision of things.’ Read more via link in bio.
