I can't quit this but there are days when I wonder how I can change things up so I can keep going. ?
In one year of doing this campaign to help this poor deceased woman, who left $125,000 to @Cornell feline health center & Cornell Univ. College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007, we have less than 5000 signatures on my petition.? I'm the only one trying to help this poor woman who wanted her money to go to helping end declawing. Thank you to those of you who took 20 sec. to sign this. Petition is on the link on my bio or website. ??
I know I have 9 lives but the way it’s going, it will be 2094 by the time I get the 125,000 signatures that I wanted.
PLEASE use your voice in a respectful way for this cause. We need to call out Cornell for not honoring this honorable woman's wishes. Let me know if you get an answer. Pretend it is your mom or grandmother and I'm sure it will make you angry & passionate about helping Mrs Hogan. ?
You know the bill in NY is back on the table and guess who will be trying to stop it from passing again. Yep, the New York State Veterinary Medical Society and guess who partners up with them on a regular basis? Yep, @cornellvet . Cornell won't support the anti-declawing legislation in NY even though Rhoda Hogan said she wanted her money to go to an organization that WOULD support legislation. ?
What was Rhoda Hogan's $100,000 really used for is the 100,000 question! Cornell is on the same side as the NYSVMS and doesn't want declawing to be illegal. ?
Also, this is DAY 99 of being silenced for speaking out against an inhumane procedure (declawing) that is being unnecessarily done to hundreds of kitties each year. My first amendment right was abruptly taken away from me.
