For #InternationalWomensDay last year, @Urban Outfitters enlisted The Berrics to produce a series of videos called “Skate Girls”, @jennsoto_skates and @マライア・デュラン did the 360 flip doubles. This year the timing could not be more perfect, because It is now clear that this cultural moment is long overdue. For skateboarding, defined as it is by "progression," to lag behind the zeitgeist is not an option. Lead, follow, or get out of the way, people are fond of saying. Duh, skaters are gonna lead.
