Every day is #internationalwomensday in our house. There’s not a day that goes by when I don’t stop, reflect, and give thanks for the amazing women who inspire me to work harder, accept failures (so we can better learn from them), and strive to learn more every day. These are just a small sampling of the dream mentor cabinet (Nikki Giovanni and Ruby Tandoh aren’t on Insta) I think of when I need to find motivation and courage to do something scary. They, and so many more, blaze trails for all of us by being themselves and living bravely. Small note: These days I find myself less and less comfortable gendering things, but I wanted to acknowledge this day and all of the amazing women being celebrated and being inspired today. But I’m always working to find ways to celebrate and support people doing great work regardless of their gender identity. ❤️
