The last thing I was thinking about while taking my 10th grade school photo was whether or not I was going to be able to afford pads and tampons when my period predictably reared its ugly head that month. For so many young women, period poverty prevents them from being able to go to school. Can you imagine your period being MORE of an annoyance? Girls shouldn’t be missing school because of a natural biological function. Starting March 8th, Always will donate one pad for every school throwback photo tagged with @Always_UK_Ireland and #EndPeriodPoverty to schools in need across the UK.
