It’s a beautiful thing to wake up and feel the world a little more connected with one another than we were yesterday. Days like today are important. International Women’s Day. Movements such as #TimesUp And #MeToo are bringing attention to issues that have been lying underneath skin of tough, innocent, women for far too long. To see women in the public eye making it a priority to PUSH and not only make these stories be heard, but force change in doing so, is truly comforting and inspiring. We can see a change starting to brew and we must keep it going.
I want to see young girls being nicer to one another. Actually, I want to see women of all ages being nicer to each other, and I’ll take that one step further and say I want to see every female, male, transgender, unsure, whatever you claim to be, being nicer to one another. Spread love rather than judgment and negativity. Because we are humans. Just simply human beings. So BE. Enough with the separation and “you’re this” and “I’m that”. You’re a human. I am a human. And for that simple fact, we should connect and spread love to one another.
I hope today and every day you feel connected with those around you and if not I suggest you try to surround yourself with some new people. You are loved, and you should feel that each and every morning you open your eyes and Every. Single. Night. You close them.
