My girlfriend asked me what being a woman means to me and here’s what came to mind.
It means embracing my natural God given qualities and characteristics as a woman. Embracing my femininity, my love of beauty, feeling beautiful, my nurturing qualities and desire to protect and take care of others. It’s about being strong mentally and emotionally, but dependent on God, and an example to those around me, like my daughter and yours. At times it means being meek- having strength that is under control- not to be confused with weakness.
I love being a woman and everything that goes along with it. Happy International Woman’s Day! Cheers to all the incredible woman who have come before me and have influenced me to be the woman I am today.
