Happy women’s day today! ?? I’m celebrating with this shot from my sister’s Mexican birthday party the other night, where I felt surprisingly empowered by emulating such a strong and unapologetic woman like Frida. In these #metoo #timesup days it feels incredible that our fight to a more equal society is in the works. We all have a responsibility to use our voices and take up space as much as men are. We need to stop feeling difficult or bitchy when voicing our opinions. As we often say to each other “nobody would have cared if I had been a man and done the same thing”.
