Always recently discovered that more than 137,700 girls in the UK have missed school in the last year because they couldn’t afford sanitary products. Today, on #InternationalWomensDay it's more important than ever to be addressing these issues. That's why I’m proud to be working with @always_uk_ireland on a new campaign to #EndPeriodPoverty. Being a teenager is hard enough, without not being able to afford essential sanitary products. No girl should have to experience that, and you can make a difference. Simply share a throwback image of yourself, tag @always_uk_ireland and use #EndPeriodPoverty and Always will donate 1 pad to a school girl in need.
