"If not us, then who? If not now, then when?" John Lewis asked 50+ years ago. On #BloodySunday, a 25-year-old Lewis was beaten so badly by Alabama state troopers that they fractured his skull. Today is the 53rd Anniversary of the infamous Bloody Sunday when 600 peaceful marchers were assaulted by AL state troopers on #Selma's Edmund Pettus Bridge during their 54 mile march for Voting Rights from Selma to Montgomery. Much love and thanks to all the heroic souls that risked their lives that day so that we could all be free one day.
