Heartbroken to hear yesterday that the real #Supergirl , my friend Jadyn @supergirljadyn passed away. Treatments became no longer an option in January. She passed away at home with her family.
Her friends have told me she remained upbeat and funny to the end. It was a true honor to meet Jadyn this past summer at @sickkidstoronto
Jadyn was known to thousands as #Supergirl and after I met her I knew that to be true. I was happily surprised by just how positive, goofy and confidant she was.
Jadyn quickly put me in my place after seconds of meeting her: “let’s be clear... we know who the real Supergirl is here. Me” she said. I completely agreed!
She made everyone around her laugh. She was so brave and so strong. ✨✨✨✨ The world has truly lost it’s #Supergirl. My condolences to her family, her mother Christie and friends. ✨✨✨✨
