Things that suck: Timing.
Things that don’t suck: The awesome and ridiculously talented Aussie contingent headed to the GC. The fact that Tokyo is only 2 years away. Ben and Jerry’s dairy free ice cream.
Absolutely devastated/heartbroken to have had to withdraw from the Commonwealth Games on medical grounds. I’m just not any where close to 100% and we concluded it was too soon for me to perform at my best. Shoutout to my support crew, and Athletics Australia for giving me a chance. Just wasn’t meant to be.
