Thank you @fashioncanada for this interview. Feminism isn’t blindly following who you are told to. It’s about TAKING the power to decide for yourself. It is thinking for yourself, learning, listening and speaking up when you WANT and not being shut down just because you are 100% in line with what someone else wants. And, ladies, it’s about not playing into the idea that we can’t have power, that there isn’t going to be room. There wasn’t before and we are making that room now, with every conversation, every man on our side, every seat, every election, every role, every March, every passionate discussion. Yet many of us are moving forward into this new space with old fears. Totally human. We have PTSD from being told to hate other women. There is a learning curve and I am here to make sure I learn all I can and be better today than I was yesterday. We must #evolve beyond feeling the need to rip each other apart when one women doesn’t represent exactly what you are or want. ??????????? LINK IN STORY
