I’ve known my friend @zoebuckman since her mum was my favorite teacher at drama school. (Shout out to Jennie Buckman, an all day everyday inspiration). Zoe’s solo show at the @gavlakgallery is strong and beautiful. She uses worn wedding dresses to create sculptures and quilt “paintings” that juxtapose a feeling of soft femininity with a sense of ‘fight’. I’m terrible at articulating my feelings about art but I love this show and you should really check it out!
