*One of my fave stories about generosity of spirit.
-Root Beer and Banana by Sarah Sullivan, illustrated by Greg Shed
*One of the best books about friendship.
-On Mother’s Lap by Ann Herbert Scott, illustrated by Glo Coalson
*A reassuring book for kids with growing families.
-Mama Panya’s Pancakes by Mary & Rich Chamberlin, illustrated by Julia Cairns
*I love this story of community and a boy’s faith in his friends.
