I want to thank all of you for standing up for what is right and defending my reputation and good name. ?❤️
As many of you know, someone started a Facebook page called “People Against City the Kitty” (UPDATE- THIS PAGE HAS DISAPPEARED) and they are saying really mean and false things about my mom on it and how we go about this cause to end declawing.
From Day 1 we have always asked our supporters and friends to be respectful and take the high road. We can't control what a handful of followers say on social media.
I've been reading the comments on their page and I'm so thankful that 99.99999999% of them are respectful and educational.
I have a sneaky suspicion that their page is trying to bait us to say mean and threatening things but that's not going to happen.
No matter what people do to condone this inhumane and harmful procedure, we all must take the high road. Remember when you are rude or threatening, it hurts the cause, it is wrong, and it hurts me because they blame your words on me.
I'm optimistic that we can inspire the human being who started this page and her 6 followers to join us and do their part to help end declawing in their state. They were born with brains and hearts and in time, they will realize right from wrong. #WhenYouKnowBetterYouDoBetter
Please remind anyone who says inappropriate comments that we must rise about this and look at it as an opportunity to educate these 7 misguided, willfully ignorant people who are refusing to accept the facts about this mutilating and barbaric procedure and that there is NEVER an excuse to perform it on a cat or kitten.
