2018 will be my 10th Crossfit Games season. ? Over the next 5 weeks I will let you guys in on my physical and mental battles of a long career and an almost career ending injury. Both in English and Spanish. Below follows the first of five. Throughout my career I've always had a strong motivator to pull me through, but every year that motivator has changed. I have always been seeking new opportunities and challenges to test myself - both physically and mentally. And this is also how I met CrossFit. A friend signed me up for a local and first “CrossFit” competition in Iceland in May of 2009. It was the same day as my Math exam, but I figured I would be able to make the start of the comp if I hurried after handing in my paper. I did make it, I won the competition and a spot at the 2009 Crossfit Games at the Ranch in Aromas, CA. This would be the beginning of a remarkable journey that has taken me around the world and given me the chance to meet so many incredible people ❤️ 2018 será mi 10ª temporada en Crossfit Games. - - - - - En las próximas 5 semanas los dejaré que me acompañen en mis batallas físicas y mentales de una larga carrera y una lesión que casi termina mi carrera. Un amigo me inscribió en un concurso local de fitness en Islandia en mayo de 2009. Era el mismo día de mi examen de Matemáticas, así que si me apuraba después de entregar mi trabajo lograría llegar a la competencia a tiempo. Lo logré, gané la competencia y un lugar en los Juegos Crossfit 2009 en el Rancho en Aromas, California. Este sería el comienzo de un viaje extraordinario que me ha llevado por todo el mundo y me ha dado la oportunidad de conocer a tanta gente increíble. #crossfitgames #open2018
