From Brits to baby, I'm back where I belong. ??❤️??. I can't tell you how good it felt to doll myself up, put on something sparkly, use a handbag that wasn't a change bag and do something glamorous. I've always loved parties, glitz and glamour, even when I was Darcy's age I'd be the most enthusiastic kiddo on the dance floor at a school disco in my sparkly rara skirt and fluro pink tee shirt fuelled up on monster munch and cherryade pop. Sometimes being a Mother can knock away at your identity a bit. You become 'mummy' and lose yourself in it. The majority of the time I love being 'Mummy' but I'm going to fully allow myself to be 'Louise' still as well. In the past, when Darcy was tiny, I felt a bit guilty for doing that, like I was implying I didn't love my role and everything it entailed. But, you can't pour from an empty cup and thanks to still doing the things I love, my cup is full and I'm so happy to be back living and loving the #MumLife today.
