Dear Kate, as a Mum who worked 10-13 hr days every day each week for the past 6 months and whose husband was in another country working himself, I often wondered how on earth I was managing to balance being there for my kids and being the lead on a tv show. I was parenting alone, missing my husband, trying to develop a character and was doing it all with broken sleep and zero downtime. I was burning the candle at both ends but YOU were my lifesaver. Just knowing that whilst I was at work you were caring for Forest, snuggling him to sleep, feeding him, playing with him, teaching him, having dance parties with him and loving him like he was your own, settled my heart. You would entertain Bodhi after school, doing arts & crafts with him, you'd bring them to work to be with me everyday and sit in my trailer doing activities with them just so I could maintain breastfeeding Forest and being a connected Mama to them both in between filming. I'm so grateful to you and I don't think those who care for our children when us Mamas go to work get acknowledged enough publicly, the ones behind the scenes helping us to be able to it all. Without you, I wouldn't have been able to have the experiences I had on @adiscoveryofwitchestv, @markwebber wouldn't have been able to be happy working and my children wouldn't have so seamlessly fitted in to life in Wales. Thank you for stepping in as another parental figure, enabling me to be the best Mum I could be to them and also get to do what I love for a living. You're our family.
