Run, don’t walk, to see #Blackpanther as soon as you can. I was blown away by everything and everyone in this movie. Everyone in this film was incredible but I am doing a deep dive this morning into the costumes and their historic references as well as their connection to Afrofuturism. I can’t even begin to describe how deeply awesome this movie is. And as a design fan, the details in every aspect of the costuming and tech the film highlights were stunning. There are some great threads on Twitter detailing the cultural references in each character’s clothing but I’m going to look for more articles to share- there’s so much to learn and admire about every part of this film ?
