I haven’t painted in 20 years because I used to believe that I‘m not good enough at it. This was the reason why I decided to study art history and later graphic design instead of fine art.
For the past 6 years I‘ve been supporting my daughter @artlarasaunders in her art studies, but I was afraid to pick up a brush myself.

This year I made a resolution that I‘ll start painting again. You probably already know that I love plants and flowers, that’s why I decided start doing botanical illustrations ;). This is my second take on artichokes, it still needs a lot of improvement, but it’s definitely better than the first one ? ?
